Is this condescending language really needed? Look at the rules : <<* Constructive criticism is welcome, but criticize ideas, not people.>>
Also It’s pretty clear that SDL has an image problem, at least in the chainlink community.
I am criticizing the idea, both for its specious arguments and its underlying lack of substance. I will also treat intellectually bankrupt posts with the same respect they afford me. If someone doesn’t like that, I would suggest they be less disingenuous.
Your last comment was completely unneeded. Also tbh, you seem just as disingenious, you’re just arguing from the other camp.
Nope, I’m arguing from the point of reason.
Some shower thoughts regarding metrics:
The staking pool - full!
Demand for more capacity - high!
SDL holders - increasing!
stLINK - trades at a significant premium to LINK!
All this before the platform generates any revenue, before real staking and CCIP even exist. So I consider the claims about reputation to be hysterical at best. I understand you are concerned, but I hope as you continue your journey in DeFi you will come to understand that low level spam on social media is beneath your attention, and it certainly shouldn’t inform your judgment, both in governance and in general.
To my understanding, the community had c 28m LPL as at 25.11.2022, is this a correct assumption?
For better understanding of the proposed distribution, please could you give some insight as to the estimated amount of eligible LPL amounts wallets that should be eligible for the 2nd tranche airdrop?
ie of the aforementioned 28m, how many are estimated to be eligible for the 2nd tranche?
@EqS @f5meo @Fox FYI added some clearer language regarding the inclusion of LPL holders and stakers who had not migrated by the Dec 16th snapshot.
Why can it be an automatic wallet update, like Amplforth does? your twitter presence is not very active and many token holders will be left out of the airdrop. either change the $ tag on twitter to avoid ambivalence with the other $SDL token, or always $tag $link on twitter anouncements
Ampleforth uses a rebasing token. SDL is not a rebasing token, so users will need to claim their tokens. 180 days is a very permissive claim window, its roughly half a year.
fair enough. 180 days seems ok
My $LPL bag still hurts, spent days acooomooolating. I miss the Link distros.
I hope SDL mends this wound.
All the best lads,
t.
Looks good - thank you for incorporating the feedback.
Cheers, thanks for reviewing!
Hey everyone, while this proposal is being voted by the Governing Council, you can monitor its results here
Thanks been looking for this.
Vote is closed, and SLURP-3 has Passed!
We’ll await the results of the April 3rd snapshot, and work to promptly issue the airdrop following that.
Hello, I was wondering if there is a place to see how our airdrop amounts are calculated, more clearly.
Thanks
Hi. I havent been looking very closely to crypto since FTX and terra luna went down. Seems there was a airdrop, guess im already too late and out of luck at this point given the 180 day windows? How big would have that drop been for 1800 LPL or about 900 sdl holder?
Hey Tubs, sorry you missed the window for the drop unfortunately. There were some eligibility criteria described in the SLURP - assuming you were eligible for all three it would have been around 900 SDL.
Huh.
Fair to say any non-migrated LPL/LPLa are now entirely worthless? Couldn’t non-migrated LPL/LPLa holders have been part of an airdrop as well?
Wish I had ended up here before spending $20 in gas trying to get those tokens migrated lol.
Edit - Or perhaps I’m still confused. Is it too late to migrate?
a banner will appear and direct you to the SDL pool that will give the option to migrate
I’m not seeing that.
Hey there, this link should take you to it directly if you haven’t seen it already Liquid Staking for the Chainlink Ecosystem - stake.link
