SLURP 52 | stake.link Educational Video Series
Abstract: This is a proposal for a grant of 1500 SDL to fund the production and distribution of five short-form educational videos. The objective is to address knowledge gaps within the community regarding stake.link’s core functions, the value proposition of stLINK, SDL, reSDL, and more. The content will be distributed through the Chainlink Panda brand channels (16M+ prior views) to increase protocol adoption, staking participation of SDL & stLINK and DAO engagement.
Problem Statement: A persistent knowledge gap exists concerning the mechanics and security of stake.link. This information deficit acts as a barrier to entry for potential users, limits LINK delegation, and suppresses participation in protocol governance. Existing documentation is insufficient for audiences accustomed to visual, high-impact media. Failure to address this gap will constrain protocol growth and decentralization.
Proposed Solution & Deliverables: A series of five fully-produced, branded, and captioned educational videos, each under three minutes in length and optimized for vertical-format social media platforms.
-
Video 1: Core Mechanics. Explains the process of staking LINK through the stake.link platform via the LST stLINK, and what is the value proposition of it vs native staking.
-
Video 2: Liquid Staking Utility. Dive deeper into the details of the functions and benefits of the stLINK token in DeFi and how the Chainlink tech stack unlocks LST adoption in DeFi (i.e depositing your wstLINK, which is yield generating, into AAVE)
-
Video 3:SDL & reSDL. Defines the role of the SDL token and its value proposition, from the yield it generates on a bi-daily basis to the voting power it grants in the stake.link DAO
-
Video 4: Long Term Vision. Provide information about the stake.link vision: being the first-of-its-kind on-chain Liquid Staking Token (LST) Index powered by the Chainlink stack and the 15 top Chainlink node operators.
-
Video 5: Call to Action. A practical guide on how to participate: how to stake LINK, how to stake SDL and all the relevant information you might need as a new user.
-
Distribution & Timeline:
-
Channels: X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.
-
Brand: Distributed via the established Chainlink Panda entity.
-
Amplification: Strategic tagging of ecosystem projects and key opinion leaders, with the support of the stake.link X account QRT/RTing.
Budget Breakdown:
-
Total Request: 1500 SDL
-
Cost Per Video (300 SDL):
-
Research & Scripting: 60 SDL
-
Editing, Graphics, & Branding: 150 SDL
-
Voiceover & Audio Engineering: 40 SDL
-
Distribution & Campaign Management: 50 SDL

Conclusion
I am taking on this proposal because I have a proven track record in educating communities about Chainlink and its ecosystem partners. I have previously produced content for projects such as Concero, Dolomite, Lanca, and more under the Chainlinktoad DAO, where I also serve as a general. This experience has given me the ability to simplify complex concepts, build narratives that resonate, and drive visibility for emerging protocols.
With this proposal, I want to apply that same focus to stake.link and SDL. I firmly believe in the long-term value of SDL governance and its role in strengthening Chainlink. By increasing visibility and improving understanding through clear educational content, I aim to support stake.link in realizing its full potential.
